| You can cancel the hosting and domain at any time using the FREEUKHOSTING.NET control panel. Simply select the Cancel option next to each of the services. |

| Yes, unless you cancel the services by the 360th day of the free trial (5 days before the end of the trail), PaySystems (our credit card processing company) will charge £49 - the hosting charges for Year2 |
How often are the domain registration fees collected? to top |
| The domain registration fees are payable every 2 years. The amount is dependant on the type of domain, UK domains (.co.uk / .org.uk etc) are £12.50 every two years, and International domains (.com / .org / .net etc) are £25 every two years. PaySystems (our credit card processing agents) will automatically charge your credit card every 2 years. |
Who owns the domain? to top |
| The domain is registered in your name and hosted on our servers. The domain belongs to you as long as you pay the renewal fees. |
Can I take the domain to another hosting company in the future? to top |
| Yes, when you cancel the services on your account, ensure that you click the transfer and enter the details provided by your new provider. We will release the domain to your new provider. |

What is POP3 Email and why do I need it? to top |
A POP3 email address is a 'standard' email address, such as the one you may already have with your ISP. With POP3 you can send and receive email directly from your domain name through an email client such as Microsoft Outlook Express.

Email forwarding will automatically redirect any mail sent to an email address on your domain name to another specified email account. For example:
info@your-domain.com could be forwarded to you@hotmail.com

I already have a domain. Can I transfer it to use your hosting services? to top |
| Yes, click sign up, and choose the second option (I already have a domain). Enter your domain in the sign up form and we will email you with details of how to move your domain from you existing provider. Please note you will still be taken to the sign up page for our hosting package - even though you won't be charged for 12 months. |
Can I just register a domain name without web hosting? to top |
| Yes, simply follow the sign up process through domain registration but don't complete the hosting sign up. However, since we provide a 1 year hosting trial, it might be worth taking advantage of that! |
What kind of servers will my web site be hosted on? to top |
| Your web site will be hosted on robust Windows 2000 web servers in our service providers state of the art secure data centre. |
Does it matter what operating system I run on my home computer? to top |
| No, you do not have to be running Windows 2000 to use our web hosting services. This is just the operating system we use on our servers. |
How do I upload my web site? to top |
| Unless you opt for our FrontPage hosting package (available as an additional service) you can upload your web site using an FTP program. This is a simple piece of software which allows you to transfer your web pages and images from your computer to our web server. There are a number of FTP programs available free of charge for download. We provide step by step uploading instructions in your account set-up email. |
Can I use Microsoft FrontPage to upload my web site? to top |
| Yes, but you must purchase the FrontPage extensions option from your FREEUKHOSTING.NET control panel. More details can be found on the Features page. |
What methods of payment do you accept? to top |
FREEUKHOSTING.NET uses PaySystems as its payment processor.
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

How do I know it's safe to use my credit card with your web site? to top |
